BENDER’S ANATOMY and LEGAL FORM PASTELS, (2026)

Originally part of the installation Yugo: The Yoke of Uninterruptible Intrusions the drawings were placed in my deceased father’s law office file cabinet and meant for visitors to handle and discover as they opened drawers. Referencing biology, the scope of the law in everyday life, my personal history and past art projects the Bender’s Anatomy and blank Legal Form drawings are a new body of work addressing my 2017 Stage 4 colon cancer diagnosis and experience.
